View Full Version : Mna what a day
My son and a friend of mine and myself went out with the dog, I don't know who was more rusty the dog or us we jumped 10 rabbitts the dog ran them then lost them and we missed them lol. Fun day though, although I can't remember the last time we were scunked before. I missed 2 my buddy missed 4 and the kid just saw tails all day. Oh well the thanksgiving tradition lives on!!!. "J"

today was the first thanksgiving iv missed in 12 years. that rain this a.m. was to much for me. when i got up this morning and saw that wall of water it broke my hart.:mad:my grandfather use to have a saying about days like today he"d say " days like today all you get is a wet ass and an empty game bag" i miss that guy.
it didn't start raining untill noon, so we had 5 hours of overcast dry weather, could of stood to be about 10 degrees colder but it was still a fun morning and the meal in the afternoon was out standing, Deep fried Turkey with all the trimmings, man I'm still full this morning but have room for 1 more piece of pumpkin pie!!:D "J"

"J": Is there another Salem or are you in Columbiana County? I'm over near East Fairfield between East Palestine & Columbiana.
You got it its real close to you. Have you been out yet and if so having any luck? We haven't been out until yesterday busy schedules and all that, but that may be my first and only time out this year, man my dogs going to hate me, well as long as he gets fed maybe just a little dislike :D we've have some land over here that we have permission on and its usually pretty good for the bunnies, can't remember the last time we saw any birds "J"
