Some enjoy the opportunity to hunt with Outfitters when hunting out of State.
Some enjoy doing it on their own.
Some use an Outfitter the 1st or 2nd time, and then they have learned enough and made contacts they begin to do their own like I did in a few places.
Some Countries and States require you use one, if your a Non-Resident. Some States will allow you to hunt on your own, and some states have restrictions like when your hunting in Wilderness Areas(Wyoming) you can only hunt there with an outfitter.
Here is a source you can use in your research.
This is only "1" part of the equation to research and picking the right one. There are many other important pieces to put together to make the right choice, but this helps.
