Quail are hard to come by but when woodcock season rolls around lookout.Come on down, it was around 60 degrees during woodcock season in Feb last year.

Well I have spent some time going through past threads and see Ohio is suffering from low bird counts as well. The wild quail you see in my pics are the result of hundreds of hours spent in the field. South Carolina has the same problem,gone are the days of Havilah Babcock. I was hoping to get up there this fall and find a grouse or two,maybe even a pheasant, but I see its not looking good. Anyone up for a canned hunt?

Don't let these guys fool ya.. Theres wild pheasants here, you just gotta know where to look...I don't know about grouse though...
