Found this on my camera from May 6. I know the Amish don't like to be photograph. I guess that makes us even then because I don't like trespassers.

Those son of a guns!! :rant: One of my feeders just got pushed over, and I know it was an amish.....those are the only ones we have problems with out on the property it happened at....and actually, one the the older amish just got arrested for trespassing....he kept taking his buggy across one of the neighbors property after he was told 6 times not to be doing that....and they kept on doing it...hopefully, being arrested will put the fear of god in him :whistle:

Seriously thought they all had dark pants, lighter blue shirts, suspenders and straw hats with a hat band around it.. Mennonites don't have such a strict uniform.... There would have been some variation.. But sure as heck they cranked up the trolling motor and off they went..

I went to the country concert in Ft Loraime in 1994. Dunkard girls went into porta pottys wearing dresses and bonnetts. came out in bikini's and long hair! mingled in the crowd with alcohol. they looked fine. One of their churches in Darke/Miami Cty has split. Younger ones not accepting the strict rules from what I heard.

I was at a monthly auction today, very surprised at how many gas lawn mowers the amish were buying up including a very large gravely with a 60" deck. the wife is supposed to push the reel type? I guess they are voting for "Change". Why couldnt Obama be amish instead of muslim. or maybe we would be better off with an Amish President?
