I just got done reading about cover scents while hunting yotes and i was just wondering how many of you guys use cover scents and if you do which type, I heard that skunk is the best but i just can't see my self using that.

I never have tried using cover scents. I have always figured if the animal can smell the cover scent it will probably smell me. I try to hunt with the wind all though the wind is never been my friend. It usually will be blowing one way and change and mess me up just as I get to my stand.
I made 3 sets yesterday and 3 today. Didn't see anything yesterday but crows. This morning I called in a cooper hawk, a bunch of crows and had 6 white tail does cross the river with in shotgun range. I was ready to move on so I switched the Fox Pro to fawn in distress. They all stopped and looked. Then they took off. I stopped them again with deer distress. But they were well out of range. I also found where a buck had tore up a bunch of trees. I am going to have to take up bow hunting again.
When you are ready to hunt predators let me know you are not to far away if you are in Lakeview. May be we could hook up for a hunt? May be even get Razor in on it. :)
