I am sure that many of you are members of or have heard about the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance. Personally, I have been a long time supporter and volunteer for the USSA and firmly believe they do an outstanding job protecting our rights as sportsmen to hunt, fish, and trap.
I wanted to post this for two reasons:
First, I was recently offered a position working within the State Services Division of the USSA. I start on July 1st and am very excited for the opportunity to join such a great organization and work for a cause that I feel strongly about.
Second, I wanted to encourage you to take a minute or two and look into become involved with the USSA. Check out the USSA’s website at www.ussportsmen.org (http://www.ussportsmen.org/). Consider becoming a member of the USSA and asking your local hunting/fishing club to become a member, consider volunteering to help with the Trailblazer youth program, and definitely consider attending the Ohio Rally this fall in Columbus (the Rally is a great time and there are always tons of guns and bows to win).

During my time as a member and volunteer I have had the opportunity to meet some great sportsmen and sportswomen from across the country while having had the opportunity to help ensure others will be able to enjoy the outdoors as much as we do.
