Found Some

I found my first mushrooms this past Sunday. It took me a little while but it was a great time to be in the woods. Once I found the first, it was like patches, three or four close together, then another group there. All of them along the trails. I walked the woods too but didn't find any. I got a total of about ten. I think that's pretty good for the first time. I will post pics later:D. I hope they don't kill me:D.

Me and my brother got a great haul this past Saturday in Morgan co. We got over 40 in just over 2hr. of hunting- most good size 3-4 inch and a few monsters 6+ inch. Mainly yellows and some grays mixed in. I think the rains the mid/end of last week really helped them pop. Just finished off a plate- simple recipe of egg wash, bread crumbs and fried in butter. Hint: find the dead elm trees. ;)

I ate some and they were really good. I froze a couple more for later:D
