Raiminwood is considered an endangered species of wood and its harvest is leading to the destruction of the rainforests which accounts for 25-30 % of global warming - po cedar for arrow shafs is harvested from fire killed trees so does not contribute the the loss of habitat - not for sure about that - read it somewhere in the past from a arrah shaft producer - back in the day - po cedar is also subject to a root fungus which killed a lot of trees but recently a strain of po cedard has been developed that is resistant to this fungus and - it is being reforested - it can be grown from a cutting so it possible ta root a bunch of plantings quick - nothing like the smell of po cedar oil . mmmmmmmmm. :mischeif:

What's the lightest # bow you would practice and 3d shoot with ? Recurve class ::)well i've used 35#...its entirely up to my strength...last few years i've been using 35# bows for 3d osta shoots...but take this evening,i was very strong holding back the wards/pearson standard hunter at 44# and 58"...i manhandled that sucker easily holding more than 2 seconds at full draw ...and piercing the bullseye...so hopefully i'll be shooting a 45-50 pounder...or somewhere in between...just hope my strength holds up this year...and no nagging injuries...i could probably throw out the 55 pounds for woodies and 3d...as for hunting my carbones would go to 55...:D
