Anyone find any morels around NE Ohio yet? I did a lot of searching Monday in Carroll County... found a lot of inedible 'shrooms but no morels. I did find a bunch of spots that show potential though. Maybe this weekend and next week will be good.

Looked Sunday with no luck. I am thinking by next week should be good.

Found one grey on monday on the edge of the woods in a grass feald. Oh yea i am in huron county this weakend and next week should be good.:D

Started picking some blacks in Portage co. this week. Should be some in your area. They are hard to see.

Found about 25 this evening within an hour or so.. Some pretty nice yellows..

Found about 40 yesterday evening, and im guessing alteast 200 this evening (my old man was out for awhile, he found most of them).. Them things sure do pop up fast!

Hot tip, if you go to Vegas, Stop in Morels Restuarant in the Palazzo. No they do not have real morels on the menu.
