rainy catfishing

any catfishing tips? im thinking about using the panty hose idea for the first time with chicken liver and was wondering if anyone else has had success with it. also i have used bacon and it works very well .

Sorry, can't help ya on the Catfishing I fly fish. Watch other post's / threads for some of the other great members that go Catin. I know UglyKat does alot and has some pictures from last week.

hot dogs work fine too...i like fishing for cats while the river is rising and just starting to muddy up...like the song says...how high is the river mama,4 feet high and rising...heh heh heh heh heh...:D

chicken liver is old school but still works well, pantyhose idea works good some times, wrapping it in thread around your hook works better,right now the cats are filling up on shad kill off from over the winter months , here in a few weeks they will switch over to crawdads , when they start coming out of the mud,but your best bet right now is fresh cut shad, they are tearing them up right now just about everywhere with em, hit the shallows and drop offs, you should be able to fill a stringer
