Pheasant This weekend?

Who's going out this weekend and are you lucky enough to be chasing wild birds or hitting the releases?

I've got Friday off. IF everything works according to plans we'll hit the release in the morning and head south for grouse and woodcock for the afternoon.

We'l be hitting Killdeer and then over to Wyandot for some bunnies. Then in the afternoon deer hunting. Wish everyday could be like this.

Chopig sound like you got the day planned out good luck this weekend.I will be still chasing my deer so other huntnig will be on hold right now.

We've got a pretty good crew going out, Dad, cousin, some other family, I kind of try to keep opening day and Saturdays a family thing. If you can get out on a weekday morning though.... I work second shift and will try to get out at least once a week in the mornings the next few weeks and would welcome some company.

Well 4 of us ended up with 7 pheasants. We got 6 of them at Wyandot and the other one at Killdeer. So I'll be eating pheasants one night at Lake Hope. I'm leaving tomorrow morning for 6 days of bowhunting.

We had a pretty nice morning also, 5 birds out of 5 1/2 people (1 only hunted 2 hrs out of 4). Everybody had plenty of chances for birds, great day with family!
