I have found mushrooms in all places from ridges to valleys. Give your thought on the best places. What is the biggest patch that you have found? What is the biggest single mushroom that you have found? Do they grow bigger in the north compared to the south?

I have hunted them in Dayton Athens and Cincinnati. I have gone to Athens and found a few. To come home to find a monster next to my deck. I have found patches of 50 and some pop can size 9 to 10 inches large. My father in law found one that could barely fit in a bread bag. I can't wait to find my first of the year. Are the dog peckers up yet?
