I don't know about anyone else out there lookin' for bone, but I've jumped Bob Whites on 2 different occasion's and the locales were 10 miles apart. The covey I jumped first was a 7-8 count and the other was just the one. Hope they are making a comeback! I've jumped a slew of woodcock but no grouse though. I haven't found anymore horns the last 5 trips out and 15 miles of scouring the brush and fields. Anyone else found anything of late?

I just got back from shed / ground hog hunting at Deer creek in pickaway county. Shot Nothing. But i did have 3 rooster pheasants chuckle at me in the brush.. They were all in different parts of the land.. I also jumped a hen turk.

Ive seen a couple Bob Whites down in my area of Southern Ohio. Last year when i hunted one particular stand site, i seen a Bob White every morning that i hunted in that particualr site (Which was only 2 or 3 times). Its pretty neat to hear them calling while in the stand! I hope they are on the comeback.
