I will be moving to the SW part of the state in Feb and was checking out the prospects early so I would be ready for next season. I noticed that the hunting has already started in your state but there are hardly any posts on this site....is there another website where all the waterfowlers go?? I'm from MO and their site gets over 30-50 posts a day during season and 10-20 offseason. How are the public hunting areas in the SW part of the state? Any info would be helpful...

Mo,
I can not help you on how the hunting is in that area, but the hunting in the mid east is good (I have never hunted any place but here but it got me hooked on Quack) and I do hunt Public ground too.
That is one thing that Ohio can say is they have alot of public ground and I think that they do a very good job on keeping it up.
Well good luck and safe hunting.

Welcome Modux,

I can't help you much with that part of the state either, as far as posting traffic the site's still pretty young in some respects. It seems like most of Ohio deer hunts but the rest of us that do a lot of the other stuff like upland birds or ducks are a little spread out. Hope you make yourself at home here, if enough of us can show some signs of life in our forums we should get more of the casual browsers to participate. Good luck on your upcoming move!
