Wow that is pretty impresive. The first set was probably when he was 2 1/2 I would guess. That would make him 6 1/2 next year if my math is correct. I wouldn't let him go any longer. The hard part will be getting him. He didn't get that big by bing stupid you know.

Great job on the sheds fatkid.

I would have to agree with Hoytmania. I would say he is as big as he is going to get.

I'm always impressed when some one finds consecutive match sets of a nice buck! What JD is able to do and what you did is right up there is the best of achievements! Pinned in deer sets in consecutive years would be Easter Egg huntin' but wild deer pick ups like you got there is evidence that your pretty familiar of this deers hideouts! I do believe that the first set is from the same deer! A good way to tell that I've found to be sure is to examine the burrs(peticles). They almost always have the same shape and contours(lobes) if present and are like a finger print of a bucks headgear! If you notice that his left side with the split also has a smaller G-1 and that could explain why more developement(antler growth) was given in the form of an abnormal point off the G-2. Fatkid would certainly be more in the KNOW than me because he knows where he's picked these up and the distance between each locale these bones were dropped. The beam tips also show some flattening or palmation and they curl in very much the same way in ALL the sets shown. Just my opinion and I could be wrong, but check those burrs and you'll have a better indicator as to whether or not the first set is the same deer. Congrats! I hope you find the other side! GOODLUCK!
