Fall Walleye...

Anyone fishing for fall walleye from the piers? I have not been up for a few weeks. Things should be just about prime now. I noticed no posts to Lake Erie fishing for past 30 days? Is it just hunter on this site?

I was wading for walleye at a pier north of the MICHIGAN state line last weekend (10-25-03), and was in the water from about 0400 'til sunrise. Lots of shad spashing, but no walleye biting. Maybe the water has to get colder for the walleye to decide it's time to fatten up for winter. But I'll be out there most every weekend (except Nov. 22nd) until the ice is too thick. Good luck.

Ill probably be at that peir north of the mi line too.:D Ive got alot of hours in but very few fish.
