I'm hoping to get a few hints or tips here. I can purr just fine on a diaphragm, but it doesn't sound quite as sweet as purring on a friction call. My purrs are a bit lower pitched and kinda "throaty." Anyone else's purrs sound like this? I'm using a cutter-style call, so I know switching to a clean double makes it sound a little better... but switching in the field is a pain. Anyone have any suggestions, tips, or methods to share??? Anyone see a difference in effectiveness in the field between low and high pitched purrs???
