New to Ohio and this site

Hi all,
My name is Brett, I recently moved to Bowling Green, OH from Minnesota. I grew up in southeast MN hunting whitetails and fishing for trout. I am hoping that I can continue to bowhunt and trout fish here in Ohio, if anyone knows of any spots to hunt near Bowling Green I would appreciate all the help I get.

For trout fishing, you're not too far away from the steelhead rivers. You're close to Lake Erie which is the fishing capital of Ohio.

Hunting is a bit tougher...lots of private farm land up your way. Knock on some doors. Enjoy OS :coolgleamA:

welcome to the site, I got alot of family from minnesota and my parents have a cabin up there on tulaby lake, on the white earth indian reservation around mahnomen, detroit lakes, and park rapids. I guarantee the fishing here is nothing like it is in minnesota, but the hunting is phenomenal.

Can't help on the trout advise.

Most Whitetails in Ohio are killed in the Eastern & Southeastern countys. Of course the big ones grow all across the state!

Thanks for the Help everyone, I found a place to go Shed hunting yesterday on some private land, Its a start. Hope to find a couple more places to look for sheds and possibly get permission to bow hunt.
