A buddy of mine is from GA. He's got a license there, so i was wondering if he'd have to take the course here in OH? I didn't when I started hunting in PA, but wasn't sure what states OH honored. Thanks,
Adam
If he's over 21 he can just state he's had a previous license or hunter safety course. It's doesn't say it has to be a previous Ohio tag.
I wouldn't worry. Just buy it at any Wallyworld and the clerk won't have a clue anyway.
I think that all states have a pact with each other that will take the class from the state that you are from in all the rest of them, I do know that Fl, Co, Al, WV and Oh will take the class from all the rest.

Sad to say it but mulf is 100% right on this one.

I moved here recently and purchased a hunting license at walmart and they didnt even ask any questions. Good luck.

Thanks for the info guys. I figured that about walmart, but thought i was pretty sad. I wasn't sure if there was any way for the computer to show that you had a license before when they entered the info. He'll be happy he go squirrel huntin now!

I hunt and live in PA. This is my first year of Ohio hunting. I went to the local Walmart here and bought my Ohio license. They didn't know me and only asked for my drivers license. They gave me my license with no other questions.
God bless and good luck!
