thinking about taking the class this weekend at adamsville. anyone got any thoughts on this 12 hr class?

thinking about taking the class this weekend at adamsville. anyone got any thoughts on this 12 hr class?its a very good thing...wendy has to take hers but i believe she's doing it on line...:D

highly recommended. pay attention in school and try to score 100% on the test.
wish they would get rid of the apprentice licenses and make it mandatory again.

what do you mean,you still have to take hunter ed don't you...:D

Not to get an apprentice license. It's a way around hunter's ed course for a year I think...

But there are restrictions with the apprentice license, thus the name of the license. I don't think it's been around enough yet to judge whether it's a good recruiting tool or not. Regardless, I think all hunters should take a hunter safety course.

Ya - you can ony use an apprentice license for a few years then you have to take the course. The apprentice was designed ta let people experience hunting with the supervision of a licensed hunter and to try and increase interest in hunting - fishing and hunting license purchases have been declining and we are becoming a smaller and smaller group - doan have ta tell ya what that means - :mischeif:

thats what i thought geezer but i believe you can use the apprentice 3 times...thats what the odnr guy told wendy at the deer and turk show...he also said she can take the complete course on line...:mischeif:

No you can get on every year for 3 years then you have to take the course :mischeif:
