Whacked this hog last night with the .22 mag. Buddy actually shot it, it was kinda windy last night and took him a couple tries. Putnam county always produces!

Good going. I used to hunt those with a passion in the 70s. My record was 14 in one day. Never came close to that again. In fact I haven't taken one in several years now.

We always wait till May to start shooting them... Let them have the little ones first and then there will be plenty more opportunities.
