found these while shed hunting

these cant be that old , why the late rubbing , trying to knock antlers off, and no i didnt find and sheds near it , i wish i did though, any idea's

Didn't take pics, but I saw some over the weekend that looked very similar. More than one place. That is the line I am following looking for sheds along with a few others.

On the rubs......Unless you went by those trees a month or so ago and you are sure beyond ANY shadow of a doubt that they weren't there then, I would say there has been some really late rubbing. I have found some similiar sign but have reservations because I never passed by them earlier. If the doe population is high in that area, you could still be having some breeding going on. Have you found any active scrapes? That would be interesting and answer your question maybe. Goodluck Sheddin'.

i was past the same spot about 5 weeks ago and they werent there, the trail leading to these two is higly used , it looks like a cow path but from deer, i didnt see any active scrapes near the trail
