A couple first

Went fishing with the GF yesterday. Caught a few dinks and she was getting cold so started for home. We drove the 4 wheeler to this lake via the wood line, thought Ide take the water grass way home and keep and eye out for sheds. About half way through the field I seen a shed laying about 30 yrds off the water way in a cut bean field, tines down. I stopped the 4 wheeler and yelled at my shed dog Booner who was way out front and already past the shed. He ran back to me and I said "wheres the bone?" he looked around, seen the shed and went like lightning and picked it up, he ran the rest of the way home with it and he wasnt happy when I took it away from him. Any way, first shed I ever found off a 4 wheeler and Booners first assisted find. Its prob a 2.5 yr old about 50 incher.

Only thing my dog finds or brings home is a dead bird or rabbit! Oh once in a while a stick. :D

That's what it's all about! A guy and his best friend tag teamin' on a really nice shed! You take gifts like that every chance you get, cuz they come along very seldom! Theres a guy on the website Whitetails365.com that watched a dandy heavy beamed 10 drop his horns one evening while watching him feed in a field behind his house. He did what I did! Ran out in his PJ's and grabbed them! I saw a nice buck yesterday morning on the way to work about 530 am and he had both sides still and my bro said a coworker with him saw a MONSTER in Wash. Co. two mornings ago cross in front of him and he had both sides. They're still packin' guys! It ain't over till the fat lady sings! Good Luck!!
