View Full Version : Unbelievable!!!
This gentlemen brought these sheds (found March 5th in SW Ohio) into the Deer & Turkey Expo on Saturday. The matched set scores 239+ without an inside spread.

These are the largest and certainly most impressive antlers I have ever seen (live or dead deer). The Boone & Crocket Scoring System does not do this buck justice. The mass is incredible and the tines look like summer sausages. I'm guessing the two sides combined weight is pushing 15 lbs. This buck will set the whitetail world on its ear.

Just think about how many guys are going to be after it this coming season. That area is producing more record deer than any other place in the country.

Those are some amazing sheds Mike. Hey, by chance, you didn't happen to get the GPS coordinates for where these sheds were found did you? If so, just pm them to me!

Are those the same sheds that were posted on here already? Look on page 2 under the thread titled " Take a look at these sheds".

Those sheds are huge and very nice tine length. And to answer the question about already being posted on here the answer is no. look at the G1 they are different and the G2 fork tine is little longer points on this one then the other already posted.
So that goes to show us there are some huge deer in this state. Now we just have to track down the owners ;)

No doubt in my mind they are the same held by the same person. There must be a deer walking SW Ohio that thinks it has a giraffe neck now that the heavy weight is off of it's head

I agree, same sheds.
Hey Mike, Have they ever considered having a best shed contest at the expo like Iowa's deer classic has?

Definitely, beyond a shadow of a massive set of sheds, they are the same sheds as posted earlier and if you look at the chewed up horn with the thread stating "shed scores 132", it is from the same deer as well. Just my opinion! He'll be pushing the 300" club next year. Awesome deer!

Good memory and good eye.I'd forgotten about that other single shed...I'd have to agree with you that there is a very high chance those are from the same deer....Looks almost impossible for them not to be..

Look at the table with the eaten shed on it. sort of looks like an amish table would look. maybe an amish farm sold them. maybe I am nuts suggesting this.

Sheds are sheds...if they came from a farm, it'll come out sooner or later...to much publicity now to keep it a secret :mischeif:

I started the thread 132 inch side. A friend of mine told me exactly where these were found and I think I posted somewhere. No amish guys found these. The old one is at least a year old.

I saw a 150 inch side once.. My buddy had it, he told me me found the set at Disneyland.

I thought I heard somewhere that they were found down around King's Island area. Proabbly living in the dang park right under a roller coaster. Regardless, they are absolutley awesome.
Now I will say someone shoots him and the score will probably be lower just becuase they always like to pull out the old common base argument.
Congrats to whomever found them, and good luck to whomever is going after him.

Come on, Seriously, Amish. How many Amish houses have a cookbook in the kitchen that looks like that one in the background lol. Gotta love the mismatched chairs though :)

That’s the better homes and garden cookbook.. Maybe they got it at Disneyland too. Ohh and they got an amish cellular... Maybe they Mennonites. But Mennonites don't use those Amish washing machines on the wall there.

Do you members realize how many amish raise deer and sell them for big dollars? and how many amish tote cell phones since they dont need wires? It just struck me the chairs are so plain, no light switch on the wall or outlets, no light fixture, no electric appiances like a toaster or coffee pot. 0ther than the phone and whoever had the camera. and amish do not like being photographed. not a sure thing but possible.
amish do read books, including playboy in the outhouse with a minimag flashlight.
