I was wandering if anybody has ever hunted Sycamore State Park around Dayton for any sheds? My wife and I took a trip there today to get some fresh spring air and of course to look for sheds. Came up empty though, but saw a ton of deer trails and tracks.

This will give you an idea of what is at the park and then there is a map that you can click on. To me it seems like a pretty good place to find them.

I know this is a bit late for the date on this thread but I'm posting anyway.
I went Monday to find a couple spots in Sycamore Woods (first time I've been there) and saw 3 doe (one was on the road staring at me and I was bearing down at 45 mph but hey). I didn't see any scrapes but found a few tracks. Found a spot near a creek on a horse trail I liked. I'm blind hunting and will be there on Friday and Saturday. I've always hunted Spring Valley but after having a squirrel hunter walk up on me, startled.. I'm tired of that place.
I don't know anything about bedding (googling now to read up) or where the best place to be hunting so if I get one it will be through sheer luck I'm sure.. but I'm going anyway... I figure each outing is a learning experience and I'm not a woodsman (city boy all my life).
