I've got 17 and I ain't nearly done yet! Still alot of bone hangin' up a few feet off the ground still. You had a GREAT year! I'm heading to the Ohio River Valley this weekend near Cincy and try my luck down there. I found a little oldie today I must of walked by 20 times the past 3 yr's. Tines were pushed down into the dirt and the beam was barely above the ground. I'll post a pic later. Once again......Awesome year!

I was hunting Southern Ohio on the wayne...Didnt hear much..some mornings I heard 0..and if I did hear any..5 guys would be racing to it...One bird..me and another guy were actually running to it..I just turned around and left in disgust.

Ive been spring turkey hunting Missouri since about 1993..On an average morning on publicland..ill hear upwards to 30 birds...some mornings 50 birds...its absolutely incredible....The only drawback is the 17 hour drive,...Its brutal.

I have had the same experience as you on Wayne during turkey season. A lot of idiots, very few turkeys. I usually kill one or two off public land every year, but it is no walk in the park.

If I had the choice I would take the 17 hour drive and save yourself some frustration.

Trap..

I think your right..We were very frstrated last year..I couldnt escape the hunters..For deer..i dont mind alot of hunters but for turkeys..too many hunters is a nightmare.

My buddy and i will be leaving for Missouri the 24th..but we thought we would spend a few days in Ohio..but we may just skip Ohio.

Thanks
