Well if i had any clue what ya looked like coonskinner i would have tried to find you. I was up there for most of the morning. There was some pretty good deals to be found. Just have to look around. Went up with my step-dad to check things out. We did see alot of things that where intersting. The Body blanket thing seemed like a nice idea. especially if you have to do alot of walking to get to your stand. We did buy some scent blocker boots that where over half off.

I might have even got out of there by the time you got there. I was there when they opened the doors and was gone around 11:30. it just gets way to packed in there to even walk around later in the day. They did have some really awesom recurves at that one booth. had to take a out a small loan to buy any of them but you could tell they put some work into them.

You shouldn't feel bad, you would just be in the same boat as me, now...convinced I need a decoy. :D:irked:

Gary Clancy and Gordon Whittington made the thought of decoying sound very convincing!

I also had planned on going. I even purchased 3 Ohio Sportsman caps to where at the expo!:coolgleamA: Unfortunately, my 95 F150 died on me :nono:and I made a major purchase to replace the ole gal. Now funds will be tight for awhile & I really wasn't too motivated :16suspect1:to go Sunday. Saturday was out of the question after I found out how crowded it gets:coco:. I was hoping to get my buck back to have him scored at the show. No phone call yet:irked:. Oh well, I saved a few bucks (no pun intended)

Where have you been? I have a decoy and scored my 2007 8 pointer using it. lol I also have a blog on the subject. Seeing as how Clancy has been decoying for years, I was hoping to get some insights from him and add to the blog. Anyway, sounds like it was a good seminar. I was hoping to meet some guys from the site and all that, but I just got to busy.

Had a good time meeting up with several members of this forum and another I frequent. I know I missed a few people as well. It was a madhouse from the second I walked in the door, until I left at 6:30. Between talking cams, BS'n, and working on vendors to attend/donate to our shoot, it was a long day. Spent too much money as usual, but I had fun and enjoyed meeting some new folks!

I finally broke down and bought a custom turkey call while I was there, an Enticer Power Slate...man that thing sounds sweet to me, let's just hope the gobblers agree this spring! :D

Did not get a chance to make the expo, was in the woods sun up to sun down. Looked over three public hunting areas, was wore out by mid day Sunday.

Only found two small sheds, but did find plan b and c for this Nov.

Went on saturday. It was crowded as expected. Saw some good vendors (and some bad). WOW, the gimmicks they are trying to sell these days. Did pick up some DVD's. Got my annual Slunger Hollow Video. Probably, the best yet. Also, got a good deal on some Millenium ladder sitcks, 2 for $80. Now I offically have too many stand set-ups!
