This is a tale of two early Ohio bowhunting bucks, a major trophy come easy and a very good buck earned the usual hard way.

On opening day in Greene County in southwest Ohio, hunter Dave Ross bagged a news-maker - a 30-point nontypical buck that has been scored, green, at 232-2/8 points. Moreover, said Ron Perrine, an official scorer from Xenia, "it was over 300 pounds. It was over 41/2 years old.

That is beautiful animal that you have arrowed you must have a larger one on the wall to have just cut his antlers off. That is a deer of a lifetime for most hunters.Congrats. Salmonator

I'm guessimg that he not gonna leave it like that. he's probably waiting to have it mounted. they just cut the skull like that to attach it to the manikin.
