Well, I haven't had too much luck this year so far. Until yesterday, I had only found one small old shed from last year that had been gnawed on pretty good by rodents. Yesterday I saw something white just over the fenceline in my neighbor's pasture. The white object turned out to be a piece of plastic, but on my way there, I found 3 sheds that were all laying together in my pasture. They are last year's sheds as they were found underneath the matting of grass that had grown up in the pasture last summer. I walk this area quite a bit and I'm surprised I never saw them last spring. When the tractor mowed the pasture last fall, the tire ran over the smaller of the three sheds and cracked it.
Here is the view of where I found them. I set my black gloves and a bowl I was carrying down on the ground near the sheds. Not very far from the barn at all.

Final picture is of the three sheds after I pulled them out from under the grass. The colors of the arrows in this picture match the corresponding sheds in the previous pictures. The 9 point complete set is from a nice mature buck. The points are not very tall, but they have nice heavy main beams. The bases of both antlers are 5 1/2". I never saw this buck in 2008-09 season.
