went to the oba banquet at deer creek state park today...it was a very nice day to be there and i got to see some guys i haven't seen for awhile...that was great ...wendy met some new people and even recognized several there...
bought a bow from jim lindner at a very reasonable price...looked like jim was doing very well there...i noticed he had aquired a lot more bows,some real beauties at reasonable prices,several bought some of his bows while i was there...was glad to see that...jim's a really nice guy...and he had a very nice 1968 super mag,new cond...wow...always nice to see him...
then we met up with mickey hughes and checked out his stuff,we talked with him a while and learned of some very nice products he had...good to see him...
also seen several osta members ,some wendy had met a few times before and she was at home...talking hunting with them...
was nice to be around hunters...going outside with wendy looking out over the lake.on such a nice day...
we then attended the odnr seminar and then the oba meeting was next...two of my main reasons i go there...wendy sat in on the odnr meeting and even talked to the speaker after the meeting about some of the things he talked about...
all in all we had a great time...i almost missed the banquet but luckily i found out about it just this morning...sadly i just learned this morning the osta banquet was last week...i really wanted to take wendy to it...but its my fault,i just forgot the dates...anyway it was a lot of fun...glad we made it there today...good seeing everbuddy...:biggrin:
