Started sighting my stryker that was chronographed at the factory at 410 fps. I am using stryker bolts with 100 gr field points and using a hawke sr scope. I could only get a 60 yd shot tonight. I zero in the first dot at 20 yds. This made the second dot zero at 40 yds and the third dot right on at 60 yds. I then held the fourth dot on center to see where the bolt hit. At 60 yds holding on center using the fourth dot it shot 10" high. I'm guessing that the fourth dot should be pertty close at 80yds and the bottom mark should be fairly close to 100 yds. It will be sometime over this weekend before I will get a chance to verify the 80 yds and 100 yd distance. These crossbows have come a long way since I bought my last one about 10 years ago.

What's the lateral deflection of wind drift in MOA with a steady 9mph force from the 2 o'clock position at 100 yards... For this you will need to know the BC of your bolt...

Any idea how much kinetic energy your crossbow bolt would carry out past 60 yards? I'm guessing it will be only a 20-22" bolt with the 100gr. head?

I have no idea what the lateral deflection wind drift is at 100 yds. All i'm doing is starting at 20 yds and working back with the distances. I also have no idea what the kinetic energy is past 60 yds. But what I can tell you is my first shot using the fourth dot while holding on center at 60 yds that I'm guessing would be 80 yds shot went 10" high over the target and hit a 2x4 with the bolt penetrating the 2x4 and a sheet of 1/2 plywood and was sticking out about 2" on the other side.

I got to shoot at loag range yesterday. There was a light rain and it was fairly windy. I setup for a 80 yard shot. 80 yard is a long way away. At 80 yds I can hit a 4 inch circle. I shot twice at 100yds and both shots were within 8" of bullseye. I was using a 4 wheeler for a rest. The next time I will setup a bench and shoot off sand bags. This crossbow is kind of a pain to shoot because you have to crank to crook. But the results are amazing.
