Here is a website that I found in the latest Outdoor Life Mag. www.shedantlers.org (http://www.shedantlers.org)
Here is three tips that where in the Mag.
1. Target winter food sources: Start your scouting where wild ungulates spent most of the last month. Farm-country whitetails gather on the edges between timber and grain or hay fields.
2. Scout with optics: Winter-weakened animals don't need you spooking them into burning precious calories. Use quality binoculars and spotting scopes to glass herds from afar, then look for sheds after they disappear.
3. Walk, don't drive: Shed hunting is most effective on foot, and it's a great antidote to cabin fever. Bring kids and make it a treasure hunt.
Hope this helps out with the shed hunting mission.
