A question for the yote hunters. I have had some close encounters last year without any success as yet. All were while bow hunting. This year I am game. If I can't get one with my bow then I have a 25.06 that will do the trick. Anyway, can someone let me know who to take a pelt to to get it tanned?
I leave in eastern Ohio so I'd be good from Stubenville to Astabula in terms of location. Also, what should one expect to pay for getting a yote coat tanned? My objective is to get a nice coat just to hang on a nail. A nice conversation piece. Any contacts would be appreciated. Thank you.

Buck master.

Not exactly your neck of the woods. But we charge $125 . TailFeather’s Taxidermy is located with the Hunter Headquarters in Sunbury Ohio.

Keep in mind:
Not all yokes make a piece. Some have beautiful thick colorful coats. Some have sparse nasty flea bitten hides. If you want a nice wall hanger just wait a few more weeks.

$125 to tan a coyote??? Do you tan it yourself or send it out. IS that sewn to felt or just tanned.
