went out yote hunting this morning, and not a thing. I have been out 4 or 5 times this year, and still empty handed.. seen one about 400 yards away today, but it showed no interest in any calling at all. After waiting about 45 more minutes, we gave up and decided to go shed hunting. Again, empty handed, found about 30 golf balls, and a skull that i am not to sure of what it is. thought maybe you guys here could help me out with this.

dsmitty, Don't give up, keep at them. It will come together, I have seen them many times ignore the call. When they do that to me, I just start switching sounds to find the one that may just spark their interest. Sometimes it's a howl but mostly it's a little co-axing on the sceery ap-6. Something high pitched in sound. Ya HAVE to be bullheaded at this game and determined to succeed.

The skull looks like a red fox. http://tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:K8gD80Ys5UmKXM:http://www.skullsunlimited.com/graphics/sm-185-lg.jpg (http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.skullsunlimited.com/graphics/sm-185-lg.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.skullsunlimited.com/red_fox.html&usg=__Y-Pz6l7h6zhqiPJ2uj9jzDCdZmU=&h=553&w=900&sz=118&hl=en&start=4&um=1&tbnid=K8gD80Ys5UmKXM:&tbnh=90&tbnw=146&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dred%2Bfox%2Bskulls%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den %26rlz%3D1T4ADBS_enUS314%26sa%3DG)
