Me and a buddy went in to check my trail camera today, hoping to have proof that Droppy had shed. These are the pictures that got us fired up.

I knew it was him from the size of his pedicle and his messed up eye. We started searching the CRP, it didnt take us long. Kirk found them both, they were together in his bed. East facing knoll with a hay bed in the middle of a CRP field.

That just blows my mind! I know exactly where my bucks are bedding approximately where they are traveling! I cant find a shed to save my life! Ya, not one! Let alone a specific deer I have been watching!

Nice job! I just saw a thick necked deer that looked similar to him, hopefully the big one I saw at the end of January. I think I will go look for some sheds tomorrow.

Yeah Kirk is my buddy. Booner is my dog. Kirk couldnt resist picking them up right away, wish he wouldnt have touched them so that Booner could have had his first assisted find. But its early and Im sure if I get rid of this FLU I can find some more. Yeah, i knew I didnt feel good out there today, by the time I got home I had a fever and now Im bed ridden. That would have been great practice for the dog,maybe the next one,or two!!!Great looking sheds for sure.

Nice sheds. I am sure their sizes didn't make it difficult to find.
