I had the opportunity to get out the last two days and sit in the woods with my new feet warmer pad. It does actually help with keping the cold from your feet. So, if anybody with swimming pools is throwing away there old pool floats look for a piece about 12 x 18 inches to stuff in your back pack. I didnt even have to use the heat packets and was out from noon till dark on Thursday.
Was still cold but not as bad as without it.
Also, I talked to my Brother in law yesterday and he reminded me that for ice fishing he has some pieces of foam from where he works ,they make steering wheel covers for Honda. He said he keeps them in the buckets we take when ice fishing to stand on. I remembered after he told me , but gettin that oldtimers disease thing , musta slipped my mind. Havent been on the ice with him the last couple of years. We are going tomorrow morning though.. He says he has a hunny hole for crappies! I'm pickin up the wax worms n donuts.
