Wondering if its legal to fish with a crossbow same as a recurve or compound. Haven't seen it on here and was wanting to see if I could do it, but wanted to make sure it was legal first. Thanks all!

It can be done but have fun buying shafts for a crossbow used bowfishing.. I bet it'll break bolts like candy on bottoms with even small rocks.

thats a good point but if he takes longer shots thus reducing the angle...also it seems all the water mud blood slime guts would be hard on all those crossbow components...now with a recurve i can have a 1/2 dozen shafts in the air before the first one strikes the target fish...:eek:crossbow it takes so long to load the bow back up...the target fish could be back in asia before you get ready to shoot it...so expect to take less than say you would with a conventional upright vertical bow...:D
