Last spring, during a flea market a found an old horton supermag xbow and i didnt know much about it. So I call my friend's dad, who is a hunter, to see if it was a good buy ( I was thinking about getting into hunting at the time.) It only cost $65 (no bolts or quiver, just an old crappy BSA scope) and the lady said it was only shot a couple times by her husband ,which i didnt believe, so anyways I bought it that day in spring. Well like all teenage guys do when they buy a weapon they shoot first than ask questions later so i shot it over the summer a couple times. And around September i got my linscene. Well i needed a new scope and quiver so i went to dick's. I know what you are thinking dick's but the bow tech there is really good. Well i got the quiver on and i needed a scope and ask what he would do bc when i bought the xbow the mount on it was a dovetail which is for .22s. So we put on a nice simmons (3-9x32). Than i decided to sight it in and it wasnt doing great because of the mount. So i went to Horton for new mount and they said u need new cables string and wheels. Well with a new weaver mount, string, cables, and wheels. The crossbow can shoot really well now, and I cant wait to use it for next deer season or even possibley for turkey. Now don't worry about a teenager with a crossbow while hunting, even though it is my 1st year my mom's friend's husband is tutoring me and has me under his wing. The cost of the upgrades is bout $135 later on i may add on a actually horton/crossbow scope and crossbow silencers. The 1st 3 are befores and last 3 are afters

Nice job, looks good!!! I recently began using 2" fletchings on my bolts & it greatly improved my Hortons accuracy & consistancy. It also extended my range by 20 yards. Try them, you will be amazed. Also might look into getting the rounded nocks, they also seemed to help some.
