Skunk smell problems!!

Well we finally caught the little b*****ds that have been diggin in our trash. Much to our surprise, it's been two skunks. Only problem is, now that we've arrowed them in the trap, and disposed of them, it still reaks like crazy! Our first floor is nausiating(sp?). We put tomato juice, then bleach and even lighter fluid and started it where we trapped them but nothing will work. Any ideas?

Man those must have been some Bionic Atomic skunks!! Comming from a guy who dont know that much, the only thing I can think of is to dig up the dirt where the traps where!! But that sounds like alot of work!! Personly I kinds like the smell of skunks!!! In low dose's !!!! :p

heres what you want to use . take a quart of peroxide , mix a cup of baking soda in it, then add a teaspoon of dawn dish washing liquid. scrub or wash down anything thats skunky, even the dog. just keep it out of his mouth ,eyes and nose. if the smell area can't be easily reached, mix this up and squirt or pour it down in the area. perroxide works fairly well on its own , but much better mixed this way. this stuff doesnt cover the oder or mask it, it destroys it. open any windows or doors and let the buildings air out too. orange cleaners have some effect on skunk too . mark

Alright guys, pretty much got it gone. No more smell in the house, just alittle outside by the porch but that'll go away soon I think. Appreciate all the help and info.
