well while the woman and the two little ones were knocked out for an afternoon nap, i scanned through a fishing forum and saw a post about tube worms in small rivers catching smallies right now. i logged off grabbed the bait caster and went to my secret smallie spot and tried it out.(i used white twin trailers, chartruse 3/8 oz. jig head) each cast and retrieve lasted about 2-5 mins.(sloooooooooooooooooooooow retrieve) i caught 4 smallies and 1 was a keeper, its like reeling in a dead fish, not to mention fishing the bottom of a river with rock and gravel bottom like that each hit felt like a snag! better than none tho:D
thought id pass this info on for those of you that have cabin fever like me, it works
