A few of us will be at IL probably at Long Island on Sunday. Anyone else going to be there?

were going up tomorrow morning... Were rookies to the lake so any help would be nice to hear... Baits to use where to fish etc... We would like to go after saugeye or perch...

We hit Indian on Sunday and I limited out on eyes. Biggest was about 21". Tried various baits and not one seemed to outdo the others. Caugh them on Vibees, pimples and Rapalas. Also caught them in various depths. Couldnt really pinpoint a pattern.

Cool, congratulations. I have been watching the Erie ice reports closely. I'll be in Port Clinton this weekend, and I might have to hit it on Sunday.
the ice off catawba is really nice we were out yesterday and had our limits of eyes by 1:30 biggest being @ 8lbs.

We'll be at Indian again Saturday hoepfully finding some eyes and panfish. Going to go a little later due to the cold forecast.

Heres an eye my brother caught Friday afternoon at Indian Lake. It was 26" and around 6.5 pounds:

I never hear anyone talking about Pennisula lake in Huntsville.
I have fished it in the summer and caught pike and bass.
Not sure if their are any other species there?

CipEncal, when you say Huntsville, you mean Huntsville Ohio? Never heard of Pennisula Lake. Do you ice fish?
