I received my Barnett very recently in the mail. I have put many shots into my new "Block Target". I wanted to share my thoughts and experiences so people may learn or get enthused and buy one.

First off they ship this crossbow almost completely assembled. It took me literally MINUTES to totally put this crossbow together. The shipping box was very sleek and it was packaged very safely.

As soon as you open the box, you are going to be amazed by just how amazing this thing looks!!! It is truly a beast (mainly due to the 15.5" power-stroke). The camouflage job is very nice. The only thing I would want next time around are camouflaged limbs. But that's really NOT a big deal...just personal preference.

Ok, once it is put together, you really see how big it is. It seems a bit daunting (especially if your former x-bow is a Supermag...lol). The butt stock is gigantic. You would think it wouldn't be comfortable, but it REALLY is. it sits VERY nicely on the shoulder. The pistol grip is VERY nice too. It's trigger pull is so smooth and delicate. I was VERY VERY surprised as to how smooth the trigger pull was. This is huge to me. It should also be noted the front grip is very smooth / comfy too. The cheek rest is really comfy too. I guess that's what can be said about the Quad 400. It is a VERY INSANELY comfortable x-bow.

Ok, now on to the performance. The scope (once properly sighted in) is VERY cool. The scope rail allows for infinite perfection mounting. The sight (even though it is "only" a 4x32) is very easily viewed. The cocking of the string is REALLY tough due to the 15.5" power-stroke. After several pulls your fingers WILL start to strain. Get a cocking string or a auto-cocker. Once it is cocked though, GET READY!!! This thing fires like a bat outta hell. The power and penetration is simply incredible. For example: I shot a 22" shaft with a tipped field point through a 12" drew foam target, 1/4 plywood sheet...and it still punctured the 1/8" thick steel pole it was leaning on. And after all that, the arrow came out "without a scratch. I don't know if it was luck or whatever, and I don't really recommend it but simply this thing has a devastatingly insane amount of power. If you hit a shoulder, it'll go through...no problem.

All said and done, I don't think there's ANY other x-bow out there as good as this, for this price (I got mine online for $330 SHIPPED). If you are looking for looks, this has it. I am VERY pleased with this bow so far. I highly suggest anyone interested to check one out.
