Forgive me.....Im having a ODNR-regulation brain fert. I been tossing around the idea of tying a public hunting area around me. do they allow sunday hunting, or is it just on private land?

All public land is open to sunday hunting, except for some wildlife preserves ,so if you plan on hunting a certain wildlife area make sure you call that one and find out. I hope this helps out.

There are no longer any regulations regarding Sunday hunting. Sunday is finally just another day in the woods.

Alright,
So there is no longer restrictions on "STATE" land? Most of the "state" parks/Forests were still non-hunting on Sundays. So, did this open up also to Sunday Hunting?

i am not sure bout that,i know they sed no restrictions.it will be in the huntin regs if there is exceptions in some state forests.ohio is famed for little tricks like this to get more money from those that make honest mistakes.but you need to know the regulations.sometimes very tricky i read it several times an still confuse about somethings.i call them and get 2 differnt answers.
I dont know if they have changed it, but the Turkeyfoot area of Mary Jane Thurston Park is closed on Sundays.
If anybody goes there I would check beforehand

The only public land that is open on Sundays in SC are the National Forest. All state land is closed on Sundays.
What really ticks me about SC public land is that they only open the most of the WMA's during the middle of the week. The average Joe has to take the day off to hunt.

State Parks still restrict hunting on Sundays. There has to be time for everyone else to get out and go sledding, hiking, bird watching, dog walking and hand holding. Oh wait, they do that on every day anyhow and mess me up half the time. I'm glad it is not me who comes up with these rules and regulations. I would make it bow hunting only on Sundays and tell everyone else to"Stay Out!" Hee hee hee!
