Grand Lake St Marys

I have been there and the ice is too unstable about everywhere you go! You can drill off the docks for crappies and perch gills have also been hitting! Weve had some really messed up weather in western Ohio!

Don't feel bad. Ice has been messed up this week just about anywhere you go. We were going to go ice fishing today, but decided to wait until later in the year. Too unsatable. Going to Erie for some nighttime pier walleye fishing. Wish us luck!

Well even if the ice is bad I know of a honey of a hole! We got into some nice slabs. We missed more than we caught! I think the biggest was 14 1/4 inches long!

I might take a ride in a little bit and see if anyone is out on the lake. I will check back in a let ya all know what I see.

I saw one guy at the sail boat club, st. marys. He wasn't catching anything. Went back to the sportsmans club/rod gun club off of 703 saw two cars back there but didn't walk back cuz I had the kids in the van. Got side tracked after I got to Celina, went and talked to Santa Claus. Never looked around the Celina or Zuma side. The ice at the sail boat club was 3-3 1/2 inches thick.
