Does anyone here wear the wool gear? I was looking at it in the Cabelas catalog yesterday and am wondering if it is warm enough for our "lovely" Oh winters.

I use wool. I got mine cheap at Army Surplus. It's a shirt and pants, heavy, OD green. I wear long johns and sweats under it. Warm, even when wet. Super quiet. Wool is the best.

I was thinking about those army surplus places too, are there any left in Columbus? The surplus world I knew of closed a few years back. I know theres that general merchandise place out east but I havnt been in there in years

He is hunting today...on the AMC channel. Never seen the movie but have heard a lot of good things about it. Got a cup of coffee and watching it. Darn good movie.

I have the outfitter series wool parka and pants with dry plus and would recommend it to anyone;) Combined with heavy, military weight base layer, it'll keep you warm and dry!

Ok cool I didnt know if it wass till there or not. We used to get our paintball gear at the one on the westside until it closed
