I took my two kids out this morning. Although I have seen several deer and gotten photos of bucks on the trail cam since the first week of gun season, we got shut out this morning. Hunted until 10 and then momma needed the vehicle to go get groceries. Heard several shots around but nothing came to our property, at least where we could see it. Good luck to the rest of you.

Had to pass this weekend up. The wife was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital on Thurs. and discharged today. She's doing well, fortunately. Plus I found out the property I was planning to hunt mostly got flooded from all the rain. Landowner said he thought it would be a waste of time anyway. Good luck to the rest.

Hunted our farm in Vinton this morning and did not see a deer. Hunted from daylight until 11am.:( I did see quite a few turkeys and had two male birds gobbling below me in the hollar. I heard more turkeys gobbling this fall than I do in the spring. :coco:

Saw 2 deer this morn at 9am. 2 bucks together. 1st was 150" 10pt., 2nd was 2 1/2 year old 8 pt. 40 yd. shot with muzzleloader on 10 pt. but had to pass due to taking young 8 pt. with my 5 year old son with me (story posted called 5 year old son and me) during bow season. Wouldn't change it for the world. My son means the world to me.

I shot an 8pt this morning at 9:00.:D :D :D When I got up to him one of his antlers was on the ground next to him. So I grabbed the other and started to drag him out and it came off in my hand. Any ideas why?

I get on archery talk all the time and it seems like bucks in alot of other states are shedding as well. I found a 190 inch set of horns last year on the 24th and 25th but as it turned out that buck was slowly dieing from a gut shot. Never knew it till finding him dead new years eve. The buck you have pictures of there seems to look healthy.

My father and I was out sat morning till 10:00 am.The weather was pretty good and not cold,we had a 4 pt. come in behind us at 830.Then went out at 200pm at 4:40 heard a deer to my right and it was a big doe with 4 smaller ones.I shot her at 60yds quarting away she ran 30 yds piled up.So it was a good day for me, so i elected to not go out today sunday. But when i went to check her in at West Branch bait and tackle to check her in,the guy said he checked in 19 yesterday. Then i asked if any were big bucks,he said 3 of them were bucks with no horns. SO better make sure you look twice before you pull the trigger today and muzzy season...good luck alll sorry so long.....

Whew, I bet there's not a lot of guys hunting today. And the ones that are must be pretty miserable.

I feed them corn and record rack along with about an acre and half food plot. Most of the deer the last few years carried their racks until late February into March.

I went east to a private farm in Coshocton county and finally found some deer. I ended up seeing 10 around mid-day. I could have dropped a small 6 at 20 yards, but that wasn't what I was after. I was hoping for one of the doe, but I couldn't get a clean shot at one. I had more fun on Saturday's hunt then I have had in all of bow season. Nice to just finally see some deer. Heard a lot of shots to, probably about 25 or so in the morning at least that many in the afternoon. Don't figure I'll hunt Delaware county much any more.

took a BB Saturday at 3:45.
Must have walked over 5 miles Saturday. As I was circling a high wall past the truck/road, three ran right to me below the high wall. Saw them 350yds out crossing a field, scoped em out and saw faces instead of tails.
100 yd drag to the truck. I like when that happens.
