those two links should help!
I would stay away from the BSA scopes ........... they are junk.
A nice little Bushnell 3x9 would work nice.
I have a 3x9 Bushnell Sport on mine and I really like that scope on it.

i agree with rick a bushnell 3x9 i picked mine up at k mart for like 60 bucks, but any tasco , simmons, bushnell 3x9 will work for a 22 rifle cause it has less recoil then a big rifle

Thanks for the info. I was looking at a BSA. I guess I'll go with a bushnell.

I have a BSA Sweet 22 and I love it - it's far better than the cheap Tasco I had on it before. Why all the disdain for BSA?
You get what you pay for when you buying a BSA scope.

My Marlin 60 wears a Truglo scope. It's a nice little scope for the money. I think I paid around $40 for it.

I just got the Simmons 22 mag 3-9x32 scope for christmas. I was wanting either that or the Bushnell rimfire 3-9x32.
What you need to make sure is that it either has a parallax set for 50 yards or an adjustable one. Most scopes are set to be parallax free at 100 yards which is a bit far for most .22 shooters.
Yes you get what you pay for but I'm not looking for match grade accuracy out of my 10/22 just plinking, working on my shooting basics, squirrel heads and some groundhog stalking.
I have a simmons 3x9 on my 10/22 and its worked out great, I wanna say it was like 30$

As stated in an earlier post, make sure you know the paralax. PErsonally, all my .22 have AO scopes on them, including my air rifle. You can focus on a squirrels eye and watch him blink!
Simmons is my personal choice for an AO, and they are just under $100 online.
Now Leupold on the other hand...just kiddin'!

I have owned multiple simmons scopes. i had one on my ruger 10/22 and one for my .243 and they both broke. IMO i think the 3x9 is a over kill for a .22......... I use a Nikon prostaff on all 3 of my 10/22's. i use only a 4x power on them all...... If you look through a nikon and then look through a Leupold you can't tell one bit of difference in clarity...... Even though i own a couple of Leupold's:biggrin: but i got good deals on them....
