Score this buck..

My younger cousin shot this buck. I know what it scores and thought you guys might like to guess. I was off by 1 5/8th inches when i guessed, Ill let this run for a day before I release the score.

I was going to say mid 140's but since you were off by 1 5/8" I bet you thought 145". So Ill deduct what you were off and say 143 3/8". Nearly no deductions either, very symetrical rack, awsome buck.

I belive it netted at like 136 and some change, notta lot of deductions.

I dont know the exact measurments so sorry, it was like a 21" spread tho

I figured 2 inch brows, 4 inch g-1,6 inchg-2,4-5 inch g-3. 22 inch main beams, 22 inside spread and 18 at the tips. Add in the mass and I come with about

No kidding...

I know that is a can of worms around here. But the guys that say that is not possible, obviously do not take the time to learn or just can't get it. It is possible if you see enough deer, touch enough deer, measure enough deer, look at enough deer, study enough deer, to field judge one within 5" on a consistent basis.

Some guys can. I never said I could. I do well on 120" to 170" typicals because that is what I see most of. I can't judge non-typicals all that well. Maybe a ballpark, but some of those jokers are tough to even begin guessing on...

I get screwed up with mass in pictures. Mass is just something that is hard to judge without actually putting your hands on it. I use 30-35" as a rule unless it just looks massive and then I will use 40". With length of tines and width, you have good reference points like ears and such. But mass and junk can make it tough...
