Last Saturday was an absolute beautiful day to be out on the lake. The high temp was about 75 and it was a blue sky day with a light breeze. Five of us caught 100 perch total and then we caught 6 walleye with the biggest being about 6 lbs. It was a great day! Fall fishing can be the best time of year to land a lunker and while we didn't get any real trophies on this trip it sure was a lot of fun and we got some fillets for the freezer. Hopefully, I land a biggun the next time I go out which should be about mid October when the big bucks are in that dreaded October lull. I'll be back in the woods by the 25th though!

Sounds like a good day CG:) I've been wanting to get up Conneaut for perch and smallies but have'nt made it yet! What area did you fish? I understand that bait can be a problem in some ares as the perchin has been great. Guess i'll just have to take some fatheads with me just to be safe!!.....TF
