Went out at 6:00am sat. We tried a few spots where we were marking fish along the bottom, but none were active. We then moved up to the northern edge of the Gravel Pit. The fishing was fairly active but small fish were very abundant. We ended up with 50 fish 8" or bigger. However, we had to throw back @ 70 fish. The bite was decent until @ 11:30am then the wind died down and the bite died down as well. On a good note I did catch two walleye @ 5" in length (young of the year) on minnows while perch fishing. A good sign for future populations.
